Okay so a little while ago I mentioned I was reading this book to help me get a handle on cleaning my home. Now that I'm finished I'm ready to report. :)
Before I read "28 Days to Hope for Your Home" I was so desperate for help I was googling magic spells to clean my home. I'm not even joking. I was seriously looking for a way to make the mess disappear. I felt like Dorothy in Oz, closing my eyes, tapping my feet together, and never getting anywhere!
I now see that was my "slob brain" in full control. What a wonderful world it would be if we could just close our eyes and make all our worries disappear. But it doesn't work that way.
It doesn't take a special kind of person to keep a clean home. And cleaning isn't a natural skill endowed on you at birth. It takes discipline, training, and practice. With that said, consider this book your personal trainer. After 28 days you are not going to have a catalog home--but you'll have the fundamental skills to get there.
I'm actually EXCITED in the morning to put what I've learned to use! (Excited to clean? Whaaaat? Ew!) Now if only I can get my hubby on board too D:
